The annual Cape Town Carnival as the traditional South Africans have come to know it, is a glamorous celebration that showcases transformation, diversity and symbolizes the Rainbow Nation identity that South Africa has come to own…

The streets of Cape Town came alive this weekend with the much loved annual Cape Town Carnival celebration, with the theme this year being “Amaza Ocean Odyssey”.

This year we witness the gallivanting and exotic prancing from the city that has owned the carnival scene for decades. Rio has come to Cape Town this year; the dancers, the musicians, the energy, the flare and some of that spectacular magic has been delivered to the fan walks and streets of our mother city Cape Town.

You cannot miss the two thousand plus dazzling costumes, the awesome samba sounds and the talented artist that will bring Cape Town alive with the Rio Flovour and magic.

Multi Choice Randburg was the first stop for these awesome entertainers and I was honoured and hosted by the professional Multichoice Crew and the awesome celebrity MC ProVerb… What a way to start my weekend. South African Style, where the amazing just gets better and magic comes to life.
