Loreal Professionnel Road Show
Hi babes!
So we've recently attended the
L'Oréal Professionnel hair roadshow:
It was such an experience!
From the latest colour trends to
the most exciting new hair styles this show had it all, not to mention world
renowned hair artist Christophe Gallilet.
His work is simply intriguing to watch. While he may not speak the best of English, his hands certainly do the talking captivating the audience one scissor cut at a time.
The show featured the trendiest
hair colours ranging from our 2016 faves:
Pastels to greys to rose
gold
It's so evident that hair colour
is now mirroring makeup.
The hottest new 2017 fall trends
include "Foilyage" and "Nudebeige".
The styling of hair for this
season is definitely moving away from that straight sleek look and towards that
loose natural wavy look aka: "French girl hair" as Christophe puts
it.
It's official 2017 will be the year of the brunette. French browns are going to be huge this year. The french brown colour palette is all about using multiple tones of colour within the brown shade to create a beautiful soft satiny finish that looks born-this-way, but better. One of coolest features on the
official L'Oréal Professionnel website is that you can locate a L'Oréal salon
nearest to you for your convenience. You can also see every stylist in a
particular salon and view all their previous work, now that is super
sweet.
We've also met some amazing
local talent from Durban.
@stylistbyvicks is one of them,
his salon is situated in the chatsworth area and is definitely worth the
trip.
He's pretty much booked all the
time but if you can wait for an appointment he won't disappoint. He's quite
innovative when it comes to colour and definitely adds his personal touch to
the overall look. In my opinion he is a colour genius and has a passion and
flare that can make any women look and feel like a millionaire bucks.

@tessacooper1 is another stylist
we met, she's situated in the westville area and is super good with all types
of styling from everyday to bridal Tessa can do it all not to mention the fact
that she can lay the most natural looking extensions.She creates beautiful
looks with all lengths of hair and any texture. You won't go wrong by booking
with her for any occasion.

Thanks to L'Oréal Professionnel SA for having us it was such a blast, we really enjoyed the show and learning new techniques and ways to style hair. We also loved meeting our local talents.
