October Favourites
Another month has come to end, that means it's time for another edition of our monthly favourite posts.

The French house known for it's trademark suits and little black dresses, Chanel became every girls dream brand; be it a pin, pump or classic flap bag. So for my 20th birthday, I asked for a LBP, little black pump. It's a classic black peep toe with the Chanel logo in the front and a block heel which never goes out of style and literally goes with everything. The purchasing process was as luxurious as the brand and will be remembered forever...
Like Coco Chanel once said, " a woman with good shoes is never ugly."

“Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves.”This is what is stated on the Pantone website dictating the spring/ summer 2016 color trends. I’m a multimedia designer and I love the fact that I can use color in my designs as well as my clothing this spring. I have been in love with the way colors that have adorned the runways of fashion weeks from around the world, from New York to London, Milan to Paris. The pieces presented were superb, but it was the way the palettes worked together that really made me feel like experimenting by mixing and matching. Even though the looks on a runway seem to look so effortless, we often wonder what the best color combinations are.

My personal favorite piece of this particular trend is this yellow pair of pointys by Plum Footwear. Yellow always makes it back into our lives and I’m sure you can see why. It’s bright; it’s cheery and can magnificently add life to your look. The obvious way to create contrast is to pair very light hues with very dark hues. But if you add the dimension of color contrast, it makes the outfit more fun. Boldly combine unlike colors. However, combining more than one bright color can often be nerve wrecking and takes a lot of courage. Alternatively, you can pair these babies with something as simple as denims and an off shoulder top to create a fun, versatile look.
